Christadelphian dating website
As a group, they are among the best Bible students I have met anywhere. Discussion with them is tantamount to pounding my head against the wall, since they believe that they have "the Truth" (their emphasis, not mine) and the rest of the worlds religions are lost and apostate. You are not allowed to be baptized [in water] as a Christodelphian until you are able to a pass a test on biblical knowledge. They are very certain that they are correct, but since they do base all of their beliefs on the Bible the only way to talk with most of them is to be very knowledgeable of the Bible as well. If you at all like the members of your group that I have met on the Internet, you are likely to be very knowledgable about scripture. They are small in number but well versed in their teachings of scripture.Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.Eze And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.Eze And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
Are there any ex-Christadelphians on this site or anyone who is familiar with the religion. I was looking to see if there was someone on the site here that has some experience with them as well. I would say that they are Christians, but that they have some extremist fringe views in certian areas. I've never heard of a Christadelphian -and it doesn't seem she even understands their beliefs, according to what CC posted. Christadelphians believe that the Kingdom of God will be located on the Earth, with Jerusalem as its capital....." Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.Rev Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.Zec And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.Zec This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles...it will even increase after the judgment after the thousand years -where many will then receive eternal life -and will even expand out into the heavens.......Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. As Evangelical geologist Davis Young noted in a 1995 paper for Christian Scholar's Review, if the evidence in Genesis 4 allows us to date Adam to the Neolithic Revolution in the ancient Near East, then the earliest possible date for Adam is around 10,000 years ago.The problem that confronts Biblical literalists is that the fossil evidence for anatomically modern human beings stretches back around 300,000 years, meaning that Adam simply could not have been the first anatomically modern human being to exist.("This is the first resurrection" above refers to the previous verse -not the rest of the dead living again after the thousand years) Rev And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.Rev And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
